How did Iroquoian dwellings change between 1500 and 1745?

In this short, competency two activity, students will identify changes that occurred in Iroquoian society between 1500 and 1745 and social groups that influenced those changes.

Students will:

  1. Review vocabulary with a short interactive game.
  2. Analyze documents from 1500 and 1745.
  3. Make comparisons between the documents to identify changes and social groups involved.
  4. Show their learning by writing, recording, or creating a visual to answer the question, “How did Iroquoian dwellings change between 1500 and 1745?”

Students can use a technological tool to demonstrate their learning.
