This variation on a previous Activity on Occupying Territory concentrates more specifically on concepts like “way of life, economic activitiesEconomic activities are what we do when we make or consume products (things, food, etc.) or services. ..., political structures, roles of women and men, habitatHabitat, refers to the natural environment of any living thing; example: a place that is natural for..., diet, dress” for both the Algonquian and Iroquois territories around 1500. It asks students to Establish Facts, and then to compare Differences and Similarities between societies.
