This short slide deck can activate cycle 2, students’ Competency 2: Knowledge related to change in a society and its territoryA territory is an area of land, or sometimes of sea, that we can say "belongs"..., for Canadian and Québec society between 1905 and 1980. Students will establish facts about each document and then indicate changes that occurred during this period. The activity can be completed as a class, in small group work or individually. Students can use the spaces provided to submit text or audio responses. Each slide contains a colour guide. The educator may use this to model how to establish facts using different types of documents and then have the students practice highlighting key features.
